This guide teaches you how to complete student or teacher verification for Spotify, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Bolt using @open_sheerid_bot: copy a link, send a command to the bot, and wait 3–10 minutes for results. Each verification costs 1 point, and you can earn them just by checking in daily.
What this bot does for you
SheerID is the student/teacher identity verification service shared by Spotify, OpenAI, Google, Bolt, and other companies. The normal process involves filling out their form with your school, name, and date of birth, uploading a student ID or enrollment certificate, and then waiting for review.
This bot takes care of all those intermediate steps for you. It automatically generates identity information, fabricates student/teacher ID images, submits the form on your behalf, and handles the Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA challenge. The only thing you need to do is click through to the SheerID form on the target service’s page and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
After SheerID added Turnstile CAPTCHA to its frontend in September 2026, most similar projects online went completely dead—including the PastKing version this bot was originally forked from. I patched in a CAPTCHA-solving step and got the full pipeline working on September 18. This tutorial is the product of that fix.
Supported verifications
| Command | Service | Verification Type |
|---|---|---|
/verify | Gemini One Pro | Teacher |
/verify2 | ChatGPT Teacher K12 | Teacher |
/verify3 | Spotify Student | Student |
/verify4 | Bolt.new Teacher | Teacher |
Every command works exactly the same way: the command, followed by a space, followed by your verification link.
Before you begin
You’ll need three things: a Telegram account, 1 point, and the link to the verification page of your target service (covered in the next section).
Points don’t cost any money—the bot is free. They’re simply a anti-abuse gate:
/startRegister and get 1 point, enough for one verification/qdDaily check-in, +1 point/inviteGenerate your专属 referral link, +2 points for every new user you bring in/balanceCheck your balance anytime/use <card key>Redeem a card key for points if you have one
Step 1: Get the link with verificationId
Taking Spotify as an example—the process is identical for all other services:
- Open the Spotify Student discount page and click the “Verify and activate” button to enter the identity verification form
- When you reach the step asking you to select your school or enter your birthday, do not fill anything in yet. Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar
- The URL will look something like this:
https://services.sheerid.com/verify/xxx/?verificationId=yyy - Send it to the bot:
/verify3 https://services.sheerid.com/verify/xxx/?verificationId=yyy
How to check if the link is correct: The URL must contain a verificationId parameter. If it’s missing, the bot will reply with an error, which usually means the link was copied from an old share somewhere else. Go back to your own browser and go through the form again to get a fresh one.
Each verificationId is tied to your own verification session only. Using your own link ensures the generated credentials get attached to your account.
Step 2: Send the command and wait
After you send the command, the bot works through the steps in order: solve the Turnstile CAPTCHA, generate identity info and ID images, submit to SheerID, and poll for the review status. The whole process takes about 3–10 minutes. You can close the chat window during this time—the result will be pushed to you as a message.
How to tell if it succeeded: The bot’s final reply will include the review outcome. After it returns as approved, refresh or log back into the target service’s page. Student/teacher benefits typically take effect within a few minutes.
What to do if it fails
There are three types of failure, each handled differently:
CAPTCHA rejected or timed out. Solving success rate is probabilistic—roughly 50–70% per attempt—and repeated submissions can trigger an IP circuit breaker. If this happens, just resend the same link after a couple of minutes. The bot already has built-in retry logic that swaps to a new token on rejection, so manually resending gives you another chance.
Fraud rule rejection (e.g., fraudRulesReject). This is SheerID’s content-layer risk control. Repeatedly submitting the same verificationId is a common trigger. The fix is to abandon that link, go back to Step 1, and open a fresh form to get a new verificationId.
A service suddenly goes fully offline. This usually means that service’s programId has expired. Platforms rotate these values periodically. This is an operational issue that typically gets fixed within a day or two, and other services remain unaffected in the meantime.
A few boundary notes
The final outcome of any verification is determined by each platform’s own risk controls. The bot only handles running the process through—it does not guarantee approval rates. Also, student benefits of this type are often subject to periodic re-qualification checks, especially for Spotify. Use your best judgment and follow each platform’s terms of service.
At the time this tutorial was written, the bot container was running healthily, and the CAPTCHA-solving service was resident via systemd with an automatic restart every 30 minutes to stay fresh. Most recent commit test results: HTTP 200, solved Turnstile token 794 bytes, zero invalidCaptchaToken errors.
